VIETNAM MEDICAL & DENTAL PROJECT

Two of our members spent a week in Vietnam helping a pretty dedicated group of volunteer medical and dental practitioners and support teams from Oz providing help to Vietnam's poor. 1050 dental patients - all children (fillings, extractions and root canals etc), 980 Medical examinations - mostly elderly, and 50 successful Cataract operations - enabling the blind to once more be useful to their family and regain a degree of independence.

My very highest admiration for the AusVet Charity Foundation and the team. The organisation and setup of the project was incredibly efficient. All these volunteers financed themselves for the entire project and all monies raised go toward material and equipment. If you want to support AusViet Charity Foundation go to www.avcf.org.auand make a donation. Proudly supported by the Rotary Club of Mount and RAWCS (Rotary Australia World Community Service).
